Bio

Justin Ottino is an expert, modality-certified occupational therapist serving patients at Holsman Physical Therapy, which has locations throughout New Jersey and New York City.

Justin received his Bachelor of Science in Health and Science Studies and Master of Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.

He went on to work as an occupational and physical therapist assistant at Suburban Physical Therapy Center in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. There, he worked with patients with orthopedic injuries and assisted therapists in developing home exercise programs for them.

Justin completed an occupational therapy internship at Healing Hands Rehab in Clifton, New Jersey.

Treating patients who experienced work-related injuries to the upper extremities, he implemented services like neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), cryotherapy, heat therapy, and therapeutic ultrasounds.

Before joining Holsman Physical Therapy, he worked as an occupational therapist at CareOne, a skilled nursing facility in Teaneck, New Jersey. He treated clients with orthopedic injuries, cognitive deficits, neurological conditions, and cardiac and pulmonary deficiencies.

Throughout his career, Justin has focused on treatment plans tailored to his patients’ unique needs and education for both his patient and their families.

In his free time, Justin enjoys being the assistant and conditioning coach for varsity boys and girls high school tennis. He also volunteers at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and YouthBuild in Kincaid, West Virginia.
