Melissa Langewisch, MS, OT/L, is a dedicated, licensed occupational therapist treating patients at Holsman Physical Therapy, which has locations throughout New Jersey and New York City. She holds certification in physical agent modalities and has a wide range of expertise.
Melissa received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York. She completed her master’s thesis on therapeutic horseback riding and learning for disabled patients.
She has extensive experience, working as a staff occupational therapist over the years at Rehab Care Group in St. Louis, Missouri, Total Rehab West in Texas, and The Health Center at Bloomingdale in Bloomingdale, New Jersey.
She worked as a staff occupational therapist throughout New Jersey: at Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains; at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken; and at Complete Care at Regent in Hackensack, where she also was a per diem occupational therapist.
Melissa was a rehab director at skilled nursing unit sites in Texas through Total Rehab Inc. and also at the New Jersey Geriatric Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was a program manager through Prism Rehab Systems at Parkway Manor Health Center in East Orange, New Jersey.
As a per diem occupational therapist at General Healthcare Resources in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, she assisted in a research project around virtual reality and computer games for stroke rehabilitation.
At Staffing Plus in Haverford, Pennsylvania, she was a per diem occupational therapist in the rehabilitation department.
